I just wanted to share a little shopping tip with you. As you know I’m a big fan of online shopping and I’m always after shoes that are that bit different to what’s available on the high street. Well, after my successful maxi dress mission a few weeks ago, my hunt for a new pair of wedges pointed me once more in the direction of Zalando UK.

Zalando, a German company that was launched back in 2008, has a pretty impressive selection of women’s wedges to choose from – we’re talking hundreds here! I hadn’t heard of a lot of the brands on the site before but as I say I really love buying shoes from a unique online store – at least you don’t then run the risk of wearing the same shoes as your friends.

Anyway, have a little look at what I came across on my trawl through their range of over 1000 pairs of wedges and let me know what you think!

It’s a difficult choice but I think these cute Tommy Hilfiger wedges (below, left) definitely win first prize. I love the ditsy floral fabric and the woven effect platform wedge sets off the summery style perfectly.

I also love this wonderful metallic style pair (centre) from Zign. The bronze strap is gorgeous – not sure they look as comfy as the Hilfiger’s though!

And for something that little bit different – another pair of Zign wedges (above, right). The Aztec inspired design certainly makes for an original pair of shoes. Perfect for this season’s style but maybe not classic enough to see you through a few summers.
