I have written a sneak peak about L’oreal Paris’ Project Runway limited edition make up few months back. The collection was set to debut on October 2011 and I of course hoped I can find one right after its debut! But unfortunately Philippines is not as updated. I tried searching for them in local beauty shops but found none. Until finally my bestie who was in Chicago told me she’ll get me some makeup as present on their homecoming (oh friends! ).
Anyway, got my fabulous present a day before christmas (you can just imagine how excited I was!). I was raving about the blush she sent me and wrote a review about it ( Wet n Wild) few days ago. It of course came with an eyeshadow quad to complete the beauty package! I won’t let the opportunity of sharing it’s “performance” to my dear friends and readers pass. So now it’s time for my L’oreal’s eyeshadow quad to shine. I got the Watchful Owl palette to my delight. I absolutely love the colors combination! The palette is a set of four gorgeous shades which includes a rich metallic gold, a well pigmented neutral beige-peach, a unique medium copper and a deep lightly sparkling matte black.
Good pigmentation but not the greatest, just good enough. You can wear it whether you’re in a chic mood, simply pretty and even on your rockstar mode! Just play with the colors (I trust you know the basics). It’s good for daily wear as well, I normally use the pigmented neutral beige-peach and the medium copper. The matte black is perfect for smokey eyes effect. The look above is a mixture of all 4 shades, exaggerated metallic gold a bit and just a little of the medium copper on top before the black matte. I also used the black matte to line my my eyelids. So the question is do I recommend it? If you love diversity of usage for a group of palette go for L’oreal’s Project Runway Watchful Owl eyeshadow Quad.
