DIY : 15 Pesos Trendy Animal Print Blouse

by pinksoda

Oh yes! that’s so true! You can have your trendy animal print blouse at a price cheaper than your fast food burgers. Hello friends and dear readers/followers! It’s been a while since I last posted a DIY tutorial. I kind of miss it. I actually made some stuff but didn’t have much time to put them all together for a DIY post (I am taking things awfully slowly!). Thanks to the goddess for fashion for showering me enough patience to finish this project I am about to share.

hooray to me! I finished this by hand-sewing!

Animal Prints is another fashion trend that is so IN in 2012. So when I gave my favorite Ukay spot another trip, I particularly looked for an animal print blouse but didn’t get so much luck in finding one. Instead! I found this large animal printed blouse (sooooo old fashioned!). My playful mind knew that I can do something about it to make it look trendy and fabulous so I bought it for only P15.00. With no further ado, check out how I reinvented an uber large and old-fashioned tiger print blouse.

Here’s a detailed tutorial on how I transformed that large old blouse. I was not able to take a picture of it while I was doing the reinvention so I took another online photo similar to the blouse and made the step by step tutorial. True, this requires patience and effort but if you’re that enthusiastic and excited, it should be fun šŸ™‚ to cut stuff and put them back together. :). Thanks for visiting Sissys! You girls can do it too! If you have kids, start with their stuff :).

Wow! You’re so creative sis.. šŸ˜€ I used to visit ukay shops but I haven’t been to one recently. And I haven’t tried DIY-ing my clothes ever. I don’t trust my altering skills when it comes to casual clothes eh.. haha.. XD Anyway, great job sis!
