Gibi Shoes Fun Day

Founded in 1984, Gibi shoes have been providing Filipinos with comfortable and affordable shoes for more than 20 years now. While Gibi is known for its wallet-friendly and durable school shoes, I on the other hand have always looked at Gibi as among my most favorite places to go to when it comes to my fashion needs. I find their designs elegant and trendy.

Being a fan of Gibi Shoes I was so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to meet two of their endorsers few days back and get to know why they love Gibi and chose to endorse it. Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Ella Cruz were such a delight to talk to.

Ella Cruz has been with the brand since she was 10 (if I remember it correctly), which is for me is quite impressive because that speaks so much of the brand’s reputation. Ella candidly talked about her experience wearing the ever durable Gibi school shoes when she was still in school. Now that she is grown up she still loves Gibi Shoes. She represents the dynamic generation of teens who love colorful, trendy, comfortable and hip shoes. She loves her sneaker shoes (sneaker wedges mostly) which definitely suits her active and always on the go lifestyle.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith on the other hand is a little mature with her choices though like Ella she is still young. While she loves the comfortable flat shoes on normal days ,  Jasmine adores the chic, stylish and sexy stilettos, pumps and wedges for her commitments in the industry. I love also the fact that a huge reason why she supports Gibi Shoes (and should be a reason why every Filipino should patronize Gibi Shoes) is that it is purely Filipino and the shoes are Philippine made. Something we should all be proud of.

As much as we want to have the two beauties by ourselves, fans are waiting for them for the Gibi Shoes Fun Day. Ella Cruz wowed the fans with her hit dance video “Twerk it like Miley” which by the way made all the fans go gaga the moment she hit the stage. Jasmine was fun and all out in singing for the fans who adored her. Some fans were lucky to bond with both of them onstage through couple of games. And of course signing of their Gibi Shoes posters followed.

What I love about Gibi Shoes is that they are stylishly wearable, simple but chic, elegant, comfortable & all are of great quality – made in the Philippines at that! I can truly say that Gibi is a perfect shoe partner for your every occasion need (it is for me). In fact, that day, I was wearing Gibi Shoes! :).

Do check Gibi Shoes on your nearest shopping malls or your favorite online stores (i.e. Zalora and Lazada) and take your pick! You can also check them out on Social Media to see their latest designs.
