Ginger Homemade Hair Mask

I was just talking to my mom yesterday and she was quite worried with her hair fall that she dreaded combing her hair because of excessive hairfall everytime she do. She is currently using the Aromacology VCO Hair Treatment to which I made a separate post here. But of course, it would be great to try also other things so I made a small research looking for alternative inexpensive hairfall treatment.

Interestingly a ginger hairmask is effective for hair growth and aids in alleviating hair fall. With regular use, a thick hair with nice glow is achievable. So with no further ado, here’s how!

GINGER OIL (1)

What You Need:

  • Fresh Ginger
  • Olive Oil
  1. Peel ginger and blend it to make a paste (where you extract the juice from). Or use a juicer to extract its juice
  2. Mix 2 tablespoon of ginger extracted juice and 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  3. Mix well until mixture is smooth

Application
Apply to scalp and the rest of the hair
Massage scalp for 3-5 minutes
Cover with shower cap and leave it on for 25-30 minutes
Rinse with warm water (use a mild shampoo)

Do this 2-3 times a week to fix that hair fall problem and nourish your hair at the same time. Also great if you’ve been combating the embarrassing dandruff.

Well, I must say that I have the same problem as your mom’s. I hate to see lots of hair fall when I brush my hair. I might take this into consideration.

That is interesting. I know ginger has a lot of uses medically or for medical treatments or supplements but I didn’t know it can be hair treatment as well. That’s neat!
