Tribute To Two Beautiful Voices

Today I am giving tribute to 2 of the most admired women of all time! One already being a legend while the other one is getting her way to being a legend (I am confident she’ll make it there flawless!).

Whitney Houston – her death was a shock at the eve of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards! No one can ever believe the soulful diva who made a mark in the entertainment industry with her beautiful voice is gone. I will always love you, Run to You, One moment in time, Saving all my love for you, All the Man That I need, Try it on my own, The Greatest Love of All, I have Nothing, Queen of the Night …. and I can go on and on and on. Those are some of the songs that made their mark in the music history that even today’s generation knows how to belt it. She is someone every aspiring singer is wishing to emulate. Dear Whitney, you will always be loved.

Adele – Hale to the Queen Adele Laurie Blue Adkins! A woman with a beautiful face and a beautiful voice! We totally adore her. The 23 year old British singer is a proof that women who eat are beautiful. The recently concluded Grammy Awards proved to be Adele’s night, the night’s doll sweeping away 6 awards proving her excellence in her craft! She officially became the sixth artist to have won numerous awards in one night and the youngest. Below are the awards she won on the 54th Grammy Awards.

Album of the year – 21
Record of the year – Rolling in the Deep
Pop solo performance – Someone Like You (Adele)
Pop vocal album – 21 (Adele)
Producer – Paul Epworth (Adele’s producer)
Song of the year (goes to writer) – Rolling in the Deep (performed by Adele)

Bodyguard is one of my all time favorite movies because of Whitney Houston. Great, great talent and such a great loss to the industry. Her music will live forever.

Whitney Houston will always be remembered for sure. Sad that she lost her battle at a still young age. May her soul rest in peace now….
